Infinity Tools Adjustable Drill Depth Stops

I decided to give these drill stops a try after having problems with the traditional style slipping. They are worth every penny! They tighten down on opposite sides using the provided hex keys, and are more secure than anything else I have tried. And for me, more accurate than using a piece of tape on the bit. Those look good. I have a set where a screw tangent to the bit’s edge tightens the collar. I like them bobber than the usual kind where the screw runs toward the bit’s center and can foul the flutes.

These Infinity stops sound even better because you don’t need a custom stop for each bit diameter. Does that feature work as well in practice as it does on paper?
I agree with the single set-screw type being a PITA. Those seem to be ideal, especially with the ability to cover a wide range of diameters with each collar.
Do the business ends have some surface that prevents marking up the wood?
These are the ones I got from Lee Valley. They are similar. I really like them. They have a lower profile top to bottom.
