 MICRO MARK TABLE SAW
well ive been looking at one of these for a long time now and after talking to 987ron i pulled the trigger. i bought mine from amazon just because i like that amazon is easy to do returns or handle problems. price was 430.00 which was with a bunch of accessories shown. the saw by itself is 350.00.  the black blade is a 80t steel blade that was on the saw but i changed it to the 40t carbide blade.the test cuts i did were sandpaper smooth ripping 3/8 thick walnut. the metal throat plate on the left comes on the saw but i changed it to a clear plastic one for zero clearance. also came with a tall fence extension, taper jig, setup bars, feather boards, small protractor and a carborundum blade. they make a sled for this but ill make my own. and a small push stick. the blade may be small but it will definitely do some serious damage. it came with a guard but i wont be using it. there is a slide out extension for cross cutting long pieces.  ill be using it hooked up to my fein vac so when i turn on the saw the vac will turn on.  the saw itself is pretty compact 12"w x 10"d x 7" h. there is an optional storage bag but i did buy that, yet ? the motor is a vs 3600-7000rpm equal to about 1/2 hp110v. and get this, made in japan not china ! when is the last time you saw something made in japan ? i think im gonna really get some good use from this saw. ron if i missed anything or if you can add from your experience please do.  this was posted here earlier, im just moving to be with the rest of my reviews.

It does seem like a fantasist saw for small applications. I could really see this being great for folks without a shop, or very small spaces.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

perfect for model makers.

Pottz, you are right on with the Micro Mark.    I will add, changing from vertical to 45 degree blade angle is very quick, easy and accurate.    Much easier than my big Delta Unisaw.
I too made my own sleds, one for 0 degree (vertical) and one for 45 degree.    Use both.
Use it a lot more than I ever thought I would.
