i see people posting their weather on many threads so i thought why not everyone have a central place to share their weather ? this was very popular on that "other" forum. hey we all bitch about the weather but nobody can do anything about it, except complain ! so lets all do it together.

It's trying to become Spring here. One day it might hit 70, sunny, looking good. The next windy, rainy, cold to just over freezing during the day, and some nights into a freeze which usually kills early blooms. Ohio is pure hell on Peach blossoms, hard to have a crop here. Apples are hardier, and can tolerate some of the dips. A lot of perennial flowers like Crocus, and Tulips were up, and flowering. Cold pinches hit them hard too.
But with all the rain in the late Winter, and early Spring we get, and with those days where it is warmer, damn grass is green, and growing strong, and I have a personal dislike for HAVING to mow in March. I like to be able to hold off until April. This year if we don't mow soon, we'll have to bale it. Talking about mowing Monday. We were going to do it today, but we both were watching March Madness, which sounded a lot more fun, and it turned rainy, so have to wait a few days to let it dry a bit.
But it means we have plenty of water, a great water table, and low low low water costs, which from the sounds of it isn't the given it is for us. BUT that also has a flip side. Our plants are a lot more water dependent, and very shallow rooted, so even a short dry spell makes everything go brown, but a day of rain brings it all right back. A dry week, and the ground cracks open.
But when it comes on our Springs are wonderful, except those days when the Tornados start spinning up, but sounds like that is a problem a lot of places. Just heard that our Gover-nome, is calling in FEMA, which is a first that I can remember, we have always taken care of our own issues, but I guess everyone is becoming weather dependent on the Gubmit.
I have found that complaining about the weather never seems to change it, just raises your blood pressure. Best to just accept it, and try to not let it get the best of you.
I’d be glad to share my weather, if anyone wants some of the rain, sleet, freezing rain, snow and cold we’ve had since midnight you’re more than welcome to it. This is why we shot groundhogs around here!
Tis the season here in NM where the fruit trees are blooming out. Usually 3 out of 5 years we will get a freeze that kills the buds, the years where the freeze doesn't happen or happens too late, we get an overgrowth of fruit that begins breaking tree branches. Anything near-ripe remaining gets taken out by the metallic green beetles that burrow into the fruit.
Dicky birds get the few survivors, usually pecking at every ripe one until they find one they like. At least the trees make for good greenery during the summer!
George I have a peach tree designed for cool weather. It actually needs so many hours of freeze time per year. Last week it was in the 60s this week has been in the 30s. It's March still. It's just backwards. Beginning of the month should be cold, the end should be warm.
The skies over Arizona were full of Chem trails yesterday. They spread out until they look like thin clouds but if you watched how they form you would know that are not really clouds. Someone is poisoning the atmosphere with Aluminum, Barium and Strontium and all that is falling to the earth polluting the forests and fields and water sources. The Wall Street Journal finally acknowledged that these Chem trails exist. Its had been a big secret and Facebook says they are con trails but the don't go away all day. This is affecting the weather around the world

Tennessee just outlawed spraying that stuff in their State, Jim. So, two choices - make the elected officials in your State do the same, or move to Tennessee.
There are several South American countries which have also banned this from their skies, I dont recall which ones off-hand.
They are doing it here too, in Mallorca, sometimes the grid pattern is totally obvious.
I could tell you, Jim, who that "Someone" is, but I will assume you already know. And really, the "Who" isnt what matters. What matters is the - WHY?
The chemtrails idea has been around since 1996, and is largely rooted in an Air Force research paper from the same year, “Weather as a Force Multiplier: Owning the weather in 2025.” It outlines a “future weather modification system to achieve military objectives” using “aerospace forces,” and “does not reflect current military policy, practice, or capability,” the Environmental Protection Agency has stated.
At its most basic, the chemtrails conspiracy theory posits that contrails are not created by water vapor at all, but instead are a sign that the government, the wealthy, or some mix of the two, is secreting toxic chemicals into the air, creating these white lines.
Ideas about the purpose of these supposed toxic chemicals vary. Some believe the chemicals are being used to poison humanity, others say it’s for mind control, and some think it’s a way for the government to control the weather.
There’s no single official version of the theory, said Sijia Xiao, a PhD candidate at the University of California, Berkeley, who conducted a 2021 study exploring the chemtrails conspiracy theory and interviewing 20 believers and former believers. Instead, individuals “pick and choose aspects that resonate with them, mixing in personal interpretations or selectively adopting parts of the theory.” Are chemtrails real? Here’s what experts have said
Scientists have said there is no evidence for the existence of chemtrails. Even if there was a government conspiracy at work in aircraft contrails, such a large-scale program would be difficult to cover up given the amount of people who would be necessary for operation, Harvard researchers noted.
Around the world, scientists have conducted investigations debunking the chemtrails conspiracy theory, describing the existence of contrails and their variances at length. Even Edward Snowden, the whistleblower who leaked classified information from the National Security Agency, has stated that chemtrails “are not a thing.”
Still, believers are not convinced. Belief in the theory has become so strong that meteorologists around the world have reported an uptick in harassment and threats, usually after extreme weather, particularly from conspiracy theorists accusing them of hiding information.
“The collective agreement within these communities often overpowers the rational dissent of scientists,” Xiao said. This makes it “exceedingly difficult for factual corrections to alter these deeply entrenched beliefs.”

Just seems like 6 months if you are on a plane flying there, it's really only about 2 weeks. :-)
I fly the other way... so even at duck speed I arrive 1 week ahead of you guys and will be forecasting what to expect... so be nice or I'll predict doom and gloom,
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
