Sale ends May 1, 2024 @ 10:05 EST. It has one of those ending as long as no bid in XYZ amount of time, so could go a while if 2 people trying to win item.
Evidently some peeps have an issue with drawing a line in the sand, and actually sticking to it. Shrugs....
this is for real woodworking equipment, but looking through the info it starts with powered hand tools. I did NOT look at details, so unsure if shipping is possible, otherwise it's in Knoxville Tn, which is a nice place, go visit, spend $$$$$, get tools. :-) Sounds like a vacay to me :-))))

I have no plans to go, or bid. I just like to watch these as they progress. We are now in the "hopeful" stage of the sale. This is where folks bid on many many items at super low bids with the "hope" it doesn't pick up any other bids.
Don't laugh, every auction has something with value that just doesn't get in anyone else's crosshairs, and some lucky dood gets something cool for 10 bux.
Then much of the regular auction happens.
The most fun for me is the too much testosterone bidder which happens at the end. It's where a bidder is looking at something as HIS before the sale is over, and damned if you are gonna outbid ME. Hook up 2 of those guys, and one item they both want, and stand back. Auctioneers wish we were all in this super aggressive mode all the time. I find it hilarious to see happening. I always wonder do they finally come to their senses, and if they do I wonder if they call the Credit Card company to see if they can stop the charges. This after filling out the forms saying yes, yes they know they are responsible for all purchases, yada yada yada,
Then you get scads of peeps with NO idea of value of anything, and NO plans whatsoever to do some research. They make retail price look like a distant memory on the cost of items, ZOOOM right past retail, here comes ridiculous.
I am strange. I realize this, but auction watching is pretty harmless, give it a try. :-)

if i was in driving distance id be a bidder. lots of stuff for a hobby shop there. could be some great deals. i laughed at the inversion table ! must be to get the kinks out at the end of a long day ? 😂😁

Tempting, Knoxville is less than 3 hours from me and my cousin lives there.
You also have a trailer Yeti. If I was closer I would be there just to get stuff to flip. Looks like it has good flip potential. A lot of that stationary stuff will go well below market just because a lot of it is at the size it needs rigging for most folks, but you have expertise in moving large trees and chit, so you could probably get it rolling homeward.
Much of it isn't move it today stuff, and you would need to find a buyer, but if it's operational someone is always looking for the big tools at the right price, Lots of flip potential. Of course you have to buy it right.
I'm nowhere big enough anymore to use any of it, but a lot of newb users want to get bigger. Back when I would be planning where I was gonna stay. :-)

DT machine picked up a bidder, pretty much a low end auction. We'll see what tomorrows bid bring in, but looks like a lot of low bidders will be happy right now.
A lot of good stuff there. I didnt see chainsaws and circular saws. It might not be worth it for Yeti to make the trip
Some stuff interests me, such as the Hammer triple shaper, Northfield chain mortiser, Fay & Egan 36" BS, Linvincible 16" jointer, 10" Rockwell table saw w/power feeder, Lineberry(?) carts, flammables cabinet, Linkwood 3000kg lift table, maybe an air compressor and a few of the smaller tools.
Honestly, I'm out of room. Even getting a table saw that I could flip quickly could be problematic. The lack of vintage circular saws & chainsaws is a bit disappointing.

Well it is/was a furniture manufacturer, so I would be surprised if they had logging equipment. Thinking about that, it makes me wonder what a logging outfit's auction would look like. Probably less on personnel sized sawing equipment. I imagine that is brought to work by the Lumberjacks. So those would likely just be personal ads in places like Offer up, Craigs List, Flea bay, etc. I think the loggin outfit would have huge stuff like those big grapplers, and log strippers, stuff like that. And a lot of trucks with flatbed trailers for hauling.
Older stuff gets even more specialized, I'd think Flea Bay would host most. A place they could stuff a lot of pics, and do a write up so it could be differentiated from "just a saw" No it's a 1935 blah blah blah saw, in unique condition, stuff like that.

I lost track of this the other day, got busy actually doing something, felt pretty good, and my heart evidently didn't act up. Anyhow this ended, and from the looks of final prices I imagine a lot of folks are probably pretty happy.
Provided all of the equipment did a reasonable job of doing what it was supposed to I think the biggest winner may have been the 50 HP, Double drum, timesaver, you could shove a 54" wide panel into, and sand it. $6,000.00 + fee's and taxes would be a braggin price if it could get hooked up, and go.
I was leery of the wood, everything, even the Maple was presented as the same dark brown color. It's all been sitting a long time, getting covered by all the dust. Everything looked like Walnut. Prices looked real similar to the brand new, very clean wood, I see at the Frank Miller annual auction to clear out overstocks. I always thought that wood was pretty dirty, huh, not even a little bit I guess.
