New to the Forum
Greetings and Happy New Year! I am located in the Northeast and have dabbled in woodworking for 50 years; more seriously in the last 15. I make a variety of things, but favor furniture most. If I had to choose one style to make for the rest of my life, it would be Shaker - the simplicity and graceful functionality of their designs have timeless appeal. But honestly, I am happy making anything with mortises, tenons and dovetails. Looking forward to engaging and learning from you all.

Welcome, this is a great group with much experience. Please feel free to ask questions and offer advice. There's no shortage of non-woodworking related static but much of that stems from many members carrying the same banter for many years here and another failed woodworking site. If you have any projects, please do post them, we love seeing other's work!
Welcome, with the exception of I have a few more years on you doing woodworking, you are telling my story. I look forward to seeing some Shaker pieces.
