How to make Mint, Ginger and Honey Herbal Tea

I searched on line to find ways to make recipes from mint and ginger and came across multiple dishes and drinks and started with this one.

I chopped up a good portion of ginger and mint leaves and I added hot water and honey to taste.
It tastes great and is a healthy substitute for some soft drinks. It may give you wings.

I planted a mint plant that my wife was using for a recipe near my compost pile. After a few months it really took off. Like a weed.

You can always add your favorite tea to the brew for a pick me up, like Earl Gray or just plain black tea. If you want you can eat the ginger and the mint while you sip. Pottz, Rich, Steve and that rock guys friends and family may notice a big improvement in air quality after they try this brew.

My wife loves it.

Thanks for taking the time from your busy day to read and look at my recipe.

Enjoy. Quack!
Comments are always welcome.
If you don’t like  the tea, try my pickled ginger. 🥵

Not sure about Tea? If I have to heat it up, it will be Highlander Grog for me, sometimes Kona, or some Chicory blend maybe. Usually HG though.
Thanks for the comment George. Highlander Grog sounded like a Scottish drink until I looked it up. It has rum coffee and what ever you want to experiment with. Sounds like a Caribbean potion. Is it good? Does it involve dolls you stick pins in that look like someone we know?

Hey Quack

Still not making hot tea, but I am making a jug of Sun Tea about every day now that it's warmer. Wonderfully refreshing, plus hydration is good.

Gallon glass jug with a screw on lid, filled with water, 8 tea bags of your choice, put the bags in, and hang the tags over the edge, screw the cap on, so the bags are left dangling in the water, and the tags aren't. POP the entire works out in a sunny spot.

Give it about 6 to 8 hours, or more, just gets deeper, ice, flavor if desired, and drink. Careful, it can be addicting.

Even working stiffs can make it. Get it put together right before you leave, or if you are of a mind, the night before. Before you leave, place it out where it is likely to get full sun all day. Bring it in when you get home, and prepare it.

Now if it is ME, and I had to work, I'd flavor it all right. Dump in a healthy shot, or 3, of something something, to make the work thing kinda go away. :-)
