I recently managed to salvage some long scrap cut offs of zebrawood from the scrap pile where I buy my lumber.
After planing I’ve managed to get a good bit of 1/4" thick by 2" wide pieces. Maybe 60’ or so.

I’m looking at some ideas for boxes or wall art to use it on.
Since I have never used Zebra wood due to cost I’m looking for recommendations and ideas for finishing and other wood species that compliment Zebrawood after finishing.

If you glue them up into panels you will have a lot more choices of what you can make.

Zebrawood would look great with any sort of oil based finish. I’m partial to Minwax “Tung” oil. Would look good with any sort of darker contrasting wood eg. walnut or mahogany.

Use it for the front and back, between a lighter wood to make any shape of a jewellery box

I make these wine pour holders.  Think of them as cubes.  W zebra wood you can wrap around the grain with a 45 deg table saw jig.  I press fit the top and bottom w glue, drill holes for the stems on the wine pours.

Your material size and grain is perfect for this.
