Silky - Woodboy Dozuki Saw, 240mm

-------------

I picked this up on a clearance table at my local Woodcraft for half price. It is a beautiful saw, and the folding feature means I can toss it in my workbench drawer and not worry about damaging the teeth.

It cuts very smoothly, and feels good in my hand. As can be seen in the photo below, it has a second locking position allowing the handle to be up and out of the way for flat cuts.

Even though I got it for half price, if I lost it, I'd buy another one without hesitation.

Specs: 240mm, 32 teeth per 30mm - approximately 9-1/2 inches and 27 tpi

I even found that Roy Underhill himself gave this saw 5-stars on the Silky web site.

Silky makes excellent saws.
While I don't have one I use for woodworking, I've got one folding pruning saw and another small folder I carry in my backpack while hunting.
Always a pleasure to use.

in the meantime perhaps they could all go into a collection then get migrated to a reviews section later ?
