Hock Tools selling to Lee Valley

Don’t know if most of you have heard about it, but Ron Hock sent out an email yesterday saying they’re selling the business to Lee Valley (the deal will close this spring). Ron says he’ll be in the Lee Valley booth at Handworks this fall (which apparently confirms that Handworks will be happening this fall).

Anyway, I don’t expect a ton to change, but I’ll miss being able to call Ron and ask weird questions about edge tools. In exchange, I’ll be more likely to get free shipping on stuff I used to have to pay to have Ron ship me.

May you have the day you deserve!

Wow, that’s kind of a big deal! Good for Ron.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

I'm glad for him. Hope he enjoys retirement

It was nice being able to talk directly to him and get an answer.  One thing will probably change in a couple of year’s, the prices
Probably very true.

Always great dealing with Ron,
….. but I have a Lee Valley very close by….. 😁
Happy retirement Ron!
(It’s been the best 18years of my life) 😉
