I am a retired Marine, and work full time for the Navy as a structural mechanic supervisor at FRC East at Cherry Point, NC. I custom make shadow boxes, coin displays and one off furniture pieces for other people in my spare time. I started woodworking at an early age as my grandfather was a master mason cabinet maker. With a military career a wife and 4 kids I kind of got away from it. But about 5 years ago my sister-in-law wanted an entertainment center and could not find one that was of quality construction and I said I could make her one. And now a small hobbie has turned into a small part time bussiness. I enjoy the time in the shop and still make time for family.
