Thanks! It’s really just simple case work if you think about it. And trust me, I made my share of mistakes. Especially with the finger joints. This was my first finger joint project. I had some gaps that had to be filled and some tear out around the joints. The top became the bottom due to tearout. That’s a shame because the that piece had sapwood that lined up with the sapwood on the sides. Now the boring piece is on the top. Fortunately even the boring piece looks pretty good. This wood is really beautiful.
Next on the project list is my pallet wood project. I have something special in the works for that. :-)
