Thanks Everyone, for your kind words!
I was actually looking at pallets to retrieve,
when the old bureau appeared...
It had only one drawer with it, 
so I didn't feel guilty about not restoring it...
The dove-tails in the drawer were marked with a knife and hand-cut, 
a home-made piece from some time ago I'm guessing...
I'll do my best to re-purpose the wood!
It deserves better than going to the land-fill...
Mr. Rick: Used satin wipe-on poly to finish it... 
Sorry it doesn't stand out enough in the images...
In person, it has a nice glow to it...
