Thank You Barb... The Hinges are just another exercise in two-directional Scroll Saw cutting... They start, like all hinges, with two different sized hinge pin holes, one press-fit, the other slip-fit... The side profiles are drawn in the desired configuration (the middle hole was a mis-fire and will not be used) Then the top profiles were drawn... Here too, I made some poor lay-out, but the proof is in the cutting, not the drawing! The side cuts are fierce, through 1 3/4" of Mahogany, but these went smoothly with a new blade... Top cuts were next... Lastly the Parting cuts and Hinges fall out the bottom... It always reminds me of doing your best lay-out, cutting as well as you're able, and then saving the "Waste" Piece that falls out at the End!
