Nice job Ron. You reminded me of something I forgot about. My projects were always so small I never worried about a floating bottom. I like how you lined up the staves by placing the groove for the bottom over a small piece of wood. I just pushed the pieces up against a straight edge to apply the tape. I never worried about a floating bottom in the past, but my last couple of bowls have been bigger and I didn't do that. I hope they don't tear themselves apart.
