Pretty well done.
Did you turn the legs as well?

No Ian, I bought the legs. The paint I used was mixed with linseed oil and whitewash. Started by bleaching everything. Then painted some and the table top is straight linseed oil and varnish mixed, my grandfathers recipe.

I had to lookup paint and whitewash… Never heard of it before.

Thanks!

I have done a lot of experimenting with bleaching and paint bases in poly for different types of furniture for work years ago. Bleaching wood then adding pigments before staining and mixing different types of stain and paint can be very exciting.

Thanks Jim, The design was more of what I had laying around. Knobs from a kitchen set, crown moulding from a Reno at work, the wave at the top was just about as plain and easy as I could do with my jigsaw. In the end the colours are what made this piece.
