Fired up the laser to cut out the first templates for the mandolin today. The body template determines the overall shape of the body, the drill locations for the depth control holes and the bridge and sound hole location.
I’ll use the sound hole template to trace onto the soundboard. Not sure yet if I’ll cut the hole with a coping saw or the laser.

Still waiting on the tuners. Should arrive on Thursday. Then I’ll verify the head configuration and cut out the neck and head templates.
