Well I already missed a week and this will be the second week missed. 
Last Monday night my Dad lost his battle to lung cancer and passed. I have been in NJ the past 2 weeks preparing for it and then working after it to take care of my mother. All is going well at this time but there is more to come. Doesn't seem to matter how old you or your parent is it is still a hard pill to swallow.
The kicker to the cancer is that my father never smoked, he worked in the restaurant business from the time he was 16 and was exposed to the 2nd hand smoke of his coworkers and the patrons for years. Retiring in 2019 at the age of of 63 all those years finally caught up to him. He was never much of a handy person but I learned plenty of lessons from him over the years and he always encouraged me to pursue my own whims and life.
