Rustic Star

This is a very simple star that I cut out on the scroll saw using barn wood. Instead of using a wide piece of barn wood, I took and edge glued some narrower pieces to make it more stable. Its about 1/2" thick and roughly 9×11″.

Those lines and inside corners are incredibly crisp, I can’t help but wonder if you didn’t clean them up perhaps a little too much considering the rustic nature of the board. Take the edge on the left, a little jagged and imperfect, it suits the material.
This is just my opinion, so please don’t be offended.

Doing the best I can with what I've got

Thank you Rennners! Not offended at all. I see what you are saying about it being to clean. I call it “rustic modern”.

good idea re: the clean cuts .. and the “rustic modern” :)
