spline cutting jig
Project Information
this is my version of a spline cutting jig.it'se from 3/4 melamine and 1/2 Baltic birch,with adjustable arms to keep the work piece where you want it
i saw petey post his version so i thought, heck ill join him.
working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment,somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

If I showed you all mine, you would throw rocks and yours.
I like the lock downs for the different widths.
Mine you just set the fence and hold it best you can.

There is a "collection" called woodworking jigs. Not sure how these are compiled or updated?
if i make a collection and call it woodworking jigs mine will also be added to the forum collection. like there is a collection called sam maloof inspired. my two chairs are now a part of that collection besides being in my personal collection.

I had an in-law that worked for Woodhaven here in Iowa....I bought several jigs for cheap....I have a spline jig that looks similar to that....I also have a 45 degree jig for my TS.....and several aluminum extrusion jigs for miter gauges....They are still around, but their jigs a limited now...they used to have tons...they had one of the nicest router table top I ever saw, but I was too late to the draw....

it only will add to the existing ones if its the same title,as far i understand. but no big deal you have your personal collection and will show up with the community collection as a new catagory.

barb click on collections, you just created a brand new catagory,so anyone that posts a collection titeled "furniture" it will be added to yours in the general forum of collections.

i just re looked and your right there was a catagory called "furniture" so i dont know why yours didn't get combined with the existing one ? you need to ask martin about that ! so far mine have all added to the existing one.

eric collections are much better than fav's were. ive got mine divided into groups so if i say want to look at tables ive saved i click on that and it's what i get,rather than scrolling through many pages as i did before.

I did one for boxes, but it sounds like there is more to that feature that I am not seeing yet.
