Candlestick commission
After taking up woodturning a year ago started making for people a candle stick for dining table for friend. Grain filled with silver wax to highlight the stunning grain. Had to use two pieces of oak hence grain in base in different orientation but still a great match. Finished with gloss finishing wax.

Looks nice! My husband has a lathe and made some candle holders. Getting the candle recess part seemed to be a challenge - yours looks perfect.
