I was given an offcut from a Blackwood slab by Liam of Goat Works in Penrith after he saw my SuperTee Fund Raiser HotRod which at first glance looked ordinary BUT wow after I machined and sanded it WOW, the figure and grain was gorgeous.
I sent a photo to Liam saying it's way too nice a piece of timber for a toy, BUT Liam said "CUT IT UP" and use it.
So the journey to this toy started.
I'd also been given some offcuts of some African Mahogany from "Four Hands Repair Shed" in Faulconbridge which seemed to complement the Blackwood well.
very cool crowie. the first time my good friend rob asked me about my ute i had no idea what the hell he was talking about ? with time ive picked up on quite a few aussie terms ! the duck sometimes still makes me wonder what the hell he's talkin about 😂
working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Martin is planning a show and sellforum... could be a prime candidate.
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
No Alex, That was a C-Cab Tray Tip Truck. This is my own scratch built design. I did a similar one for a children’s charity fund raiser earlier in the year. I’ll do a post on it later to show it.
