Blue Tooth Speaker Sets
These are little Bluetooth Speaker sets for Xmas gifts. The electronics are from Rockler, and I added some personal touches. The clock was an add on because it is going to be in kids' rooms and I had the space that I needed in the back for the controls, and Bass tube. I screwed the back on, to allow access to the control head and back of clock. I like to segment things so I added a segment of Padauk and White Oak.
The units have pretty good sound. The units were made from 6/4 Walnut "shorts", resawed and drum sanded to 1/2 stock. Finish is 5 coats of Antique oil, and topped with a coat of Renaissance Wax. They were fun to make and a perfect gift for the 14 year old Boy or Girl....I'm giving one to each of those)
