Quarto
I made a Quarto game as a Christmas present. The board is Walnut with Poplar edging. The pieces are Walnut and Maple. We opened it early as we are all staying inside due to the cold.
It is a fun game and plays pretty quickly. It is kind of like an advanced connect four but you can connect based on height, color, shape or top shape. Interesting, you select the piece your opponent has to play.

Good take on the game... Heard many good reports on playing/enjoying it.
Looks like something that could be relatively mass produced in miniature for quite a few stocking stuffers or large for a display item.

Damn it all, they're more than fun... they make people think... I remember that day I did it on my own, rather than get brainwashed by popular media.
