The Muk knife is named after George Washington Sears (Nessmuk) (December 2, 1821 – May 1, 1890)), who made it popular when he wrote “Woodcraft”, an article published in Forest and Stream Publishing Company, New York, in 1920 and republished by Dover Publication Inc. in 1963. Nice work, Don!

May you have the day you deserve!

Excellent job Don!  When you made your first Muk knife a couple of years ago you piqued my interest in the design so I bought the book and did some research.  Finally got around to making a couple recently.  It's a really nice design that's fun to make and looks cool 😎  Thanks for the inspiration!
