Large Chopping Block

This is a chopping block that was made to fit atop an existing desk and bring the height up enough to use it as an island in a small kitchen.  It is made from end grain maple. Used lots of glue and not enough clamps.    Turned out ok but very heavy,   I did not weigh it but for sure over 100 pounds.
I soaked it up with mineral oil and then finished with a mixture of mineral oil and beeswax.
