Most of this style of box is 8 × 11 – 9 × 12 this one is 10x 14 × 7 Funny how much bigger that really is. Walnut with ebony splines. General WOP and waxed for the special feel. it is on it’s way to Texas.

Great job, wonderful profile and the ebony splines are a great accent

I love the cove made with the table saw. I recently made some picture frames with about the same profile. Yours look a bit wider tho, do you have a table saw blade larger than 10"?excellent box by the way.

No I use a CMT cove cutter with is about 8" diameter. Cove radius is controlled by angle of fence. thanks, mike

Beautiful box! Love walnut!

Beautiful box. I, also, figured that the cove cut was done on the table saw. CMT, 8" diameter router bit? Wow! I’d like to see a pick of the set up, showing the fence angle.

No- it is a cutter that fits on table saw- sorry if I confused anyone.

Unique design and a interesting tool used to make.
