Pecan and Resin Coffee Table

Table is from a Pecan Slab. The table measures 23.5" X 56.5" 2" thick and 19" high mounted on 1-1/2" sq. tubing. Finished with a Satin Poly finish. The character void in the board is filled with a Deep Pour Epoxy Resin with a black pigment added. This table was a pleasure build for my Grandson Josiah and his wife Jenny.
My Grandson and I worked together on this project, leveling the slab, building and pouring the Table.
He said he learned a lot and gained valuable experience how to use the woodworking tools. I had a blast having him alongside me working and bonding together as a team, what a great blessing that was! ( This was our first Resin Table to build so there was a learning curve in pouring the resin correctly but it all worked out well.
Thank you for looking comments welcome.

Super nice table, looks great. The best part of this build is the fact you & your grandson were a team, working together. Terrific memory for your grandson.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Live / waney edged tables, using hudge slabs of timber with defects filled by resin is very Australian.
Beautiful, I've never worked with resin, but might have to give it a try someday. Excellent job.  Mike
