Project Information
this was a simple project to make the wife happy so she doesn't mind me doing what I do! the cabinet is made from project leftovers. cabinet is red oak and the top is walnut with the bottom and adjustable shelf made of melamine. hinges are euro 1/2 overlay. finish is maloof style oil. size is 17"x25",height 31". not a fan of oak but the vanity is so i wanted it to match.

Nice looking little cabinet. Used Domino's on it?
A nicely done cabinet, and matching the existing stuff is a requirement.

Main Street to the Mountains

Nice! We need a new vanity in the front bathroom, but we're stalled at the mirror. The original bath has a sink that faces into the corner, and I built in a medicine cabinet so that you're looking straight into the mirror. Before, you had to turn away from the sink to see yourself. It's a stupid design. The wife wants the sink to face one wall, and I'm not going to tear out any medicine cabinets, so it's been at a standstill for years. It's easy for her to say, since I have to do all the work.

Beautiful little cabinet, great use of other project excess material. Just goes to show there is no such thing as "scrap" from a project.
Looks nice! I've been paying attention to how people do inside corners and I like your rounding style!

No name noobie here

DK- yeah the wives always want this and that but understand the amount of work or cost sometimes.
OT-i dont consider anything a scrap, it's all just off cuts waiting for the right project.
YRTi-yeah i dont like sharp corners so pretty much anything i do gets a nice round over.
