Great job. It’s always a win win when you can repurpose reuse or recycle.

I really like this concept. How long are the feet, and is it 4×4′s? I’m going to have to make one for myself.
What are the other materials for the slats and dimension, may I ask?
Thanks for the comments guys. Dandy dee, it’s an even 48" swing with the 2×6 arms sitt 2 inches from the swing arm. You can use whatever 2x size you want for the frame arms depending on what creativity you want to put into it. I did use 4×4s for the vertical and horizontal frame work with 2×2 angle braces. Again you can be very creative with the frame just use your imagination. All the material was old 2x material scraps. I ripped the slats 3/4" thick from 2×4s. It is very comfortable. I’m sitting in ut now. You will need to play with the curve of the seat to fit your comfort if you are building it for yourself. If you’re building it to sell, I go by the motto that if I would buy it because it’s comfortable, others will too. Thanks again
