Crypsis Puzzle Box

I think what makes me happiest about this project is that a wind up butterfly comes flying out as the puzzle is solved.

This typically results in people having themselves a little startle scream, lol.

Perhaps the biggest challenge was to create a box/puzzle that the top doors opened quickly enough to allow the butterfly inside to fly out.

The dangly strings seen below the box are to pull on to help reduce tension on the opening lid, allowing them to close easily.
