Vienna regulator wall clock number 2!

Yes, another Vienna regulator wall clock, or Dachluhr.  Though this time with peaked top rather than a dome top as in my first one.  It was a commission for a friends 65 birthday by his wife!

The frames are made of Jarrah with Tassie oak stringing and with more book matched Vavona burl veneer for the back board.  It has 6 bevelled glass 'lights'.  These are difficult to source as most glaziers now have machines that will not accept such small pieces of glass, so these were done my hand, by the one specialist in Western Australia!

It has another superb Kieninger movement, which this time chimes on a nine rod gong.  The plain white dial and simple Breguet hands add to its elegancy.  The two weights on the yoke drive the clockwork mechanism, while two coiled springs run the chimes.   We decided to add a place to store the 'key' in the bottom.

Thanks for looking.
Sweet, the works are just as interesting as the case. Well done.
