Small desk clock

Been in the mood to make some little clocks, My Grandson really enjoyed to one I made for him, so thought I would try one for his Dad. Took, me a long time to find a scrollable pattern for the "Wings of Gold". Finally came across this one, but forgot where I found it so I can't credit the author. The dark wood is Bloodwood and the wings are Canarywood, I guess my two favorite woods right now. Got to dream up something for my Granddaughter, than there is my other Grandson, and Daughter, this could go on for a while.

scrap that is super cool, nice work. maybe time to move up to a cnc ?

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Great looking clock, the wings turned out great. A never-ending project.

Main Street to the Mountains

CNC not in this old mans future.  The joy is doing it by hand as long as my hands work.  I'll keep doing it  the old way.  when they go to a compurter controlled table saw, jointer, chop saw etc., etc,, you going to sit at your computer and run your wood shop and feel like you did it?  Just saying.
i hear ya scrap, you wont find one in my shop either.

Nice clock! It sounds like you're going to get some practice making them
My hope I love to make and give things that the recipient  loves to get.  What greater reward is their?  The military emblems and these clocks are the most gratifying things I have given.
very creative and well executed
