VW Campervan - My first wooden model build

This was the first wooden model vehicle I built a couple of years back. It was built using a set of plans from DutchyPatterns which I found on Pinterest.
I started this build as a dear friend of mine had a stroke and as he was a great camper van enthusiast I thought this would raise his spirits, unfortunately he passed away before I could complete it (he was unaware of the build). So this has great sentimental feeling attached to this model.
I used Cherry and Ash in this build with a little bit of Oak for the wheels as I recall. As this was the first time I embarked on model building it definitely help me improve my attention to detail also kicked off a few more model builds since all of which come from Dutchy's.
As I mentioned in my first post i tend to video and post their progress on my youtube channel - Phenrica woodstuff.
Cheers
Steve

Absolute beauty. Being from California, there’s a certain heavy nostalgia for VW camper vans here!

You did a great job on a challenging build! I've got a set of these plans. The project is on my "to-do" list but it's going to be a while.
