Pierce Arrow 1911

This was a challenging project, the wheels took a while with a few do overs, the hood ornament was cut from a piece of ebony with bonded brass on each side.  The body is walnut, top is cedar, maple parts, and other wood parts.
I have to give a shout out to Dutch and Gr8hunter for inspiring me to try modeling.   It is a great way to do challenging woodworking when the house is full of larger projects!

Awesome model.  I just plans for a model T.  not sure when I will get to it.  I can see I have some challenges.  Is there a tutorial around on how to do the brass work?
Awesome!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Spectacular work, Tim! That’s a gorgeous model.
I use brass tubes of various sizes and insert wood dowels, and the brass sheets from the hobby store and use heavy duty spray adhesive but apply it with a acid brush.  Also use soft brass or silver wire that bends easy and use cya to attach

Very impressive 0001.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

nice to know i inspired you Tim but let me say your models are far above and beyond mine the brass accents really take them to the next level GR8 JOB 😍😎👍
