New 4 legged creature from the basement. Walnut, Spanish cedar and pine. Lots of little pieces!  Pretty happy with the results, but, of course could be better next time.  I used tape and band clamps to glue up octagons. Still a bit awkward to get perfect alignment. I think next project will be simpler!
Really cool design. Love to wood combination,  the octagon  are really striking.  Lot of work for sure but it shows!!!

Great design, the extra effort with the octagons looks aces and the walnut is impressive!

Great bench, really like the octagon banding adds a nice style. Rings can be a bit of a challenge to glue up, but it will come to you as you do more, think of segment turning.
