Spalted Elm Center Piece
It’s just a piece of spalted elm covered with epoxy. Hopefully pictures do it justice. Proof just a pice of wood can be art.

very true don, ive seen many slabs like that mounted on a base to display.

I'd be too chicken to try and build anything from those, so fragile looking. I think the way they are displayed is an excellent option 👍
