Nice build Bob, I really like the way you did the legs and slats. Making the slats with the buttons different lengths is a cool detail. Also the recess on the legs adds a nice touch. I can't tell from the pictures if the buttons are round, square or diamond shaped, but either way they look great.
Love the design. Can you comment or show pics of the joinery? I struggle with slats like that. Usually I use M&T but that’s a bit tedious, especially if there are a bunch of them.

Ryan, here is the original drawing from the legs. Was pretty simple. I used a router / router table for all of it after cutting the pieces to the right size. The corner pieces are 1-1/2 " x 1-1/2 ". The inner pieces are 1-1/2" x 1-3/8". |
