This is one of several cribbage boards I made as appreciation gifts for people who went above and beyond in their contributions to our do-it-yourself Summertime Condo Association. This was made as a tribute to the Boston Bruins with a crossed hockey stick motif, and it was made in book-style fashion using Paduak with inlays made from African Mahogany and Wenge . I also embedded a picture of the B's logo on the center of the puck. The holes were drilled out (for a two-player game) using a store-bought cribbage template from Rockler. Inside the board I routed out space for storage of cards and pegs. Magnets hold the metal pegs in place, and a magnet is also used to keep the board from inadvertently opening.
