This was for my daughter's 1st born Shephard..I had saved her headboard from when she was a child and used to make the head of craddle then used its shapes to influence my overall design..the rockers are made from 150 yr old Alaskan yellow cedar "reclaimed " I used a blue fiber optics rod for the eyes that runs completely through to grab the light ..
nice work on the cradle that has a special meaning to it. thanks for sharing your work.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Awesome story about it, and I like the fiber optic addition. Nicely done.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

The cradle looks great and a nice story to go with it!
