For after the truck I made a trailer. Made mostly from Yellow Polplar (AKA Tulipwood, how could it be otherwise for a Dutch person?) Approx 60 Cm in  length.

Pictures tell more than the description. That's why a few more here further down the page.

Construction drawings can be found on my website

LBD has again made a beautiful exploded view video.

The containers will be soon here on CS also.

Always such impressive detail. Nicely done, as always.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Now that's how to confuse the Yanks... 60cm will have them running for their conversion charts.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Sorry forgotten. 60cm is approx.14"

Conversion from " to mm is doable, but from mm to " isn't that easy. How could that happen?

Dutchy, really a nice design and beautiful fabrication.  I really like the whole model ( tractor and trailer).  Thanks for doing this and sharing.
For mm to inches, I double the mm, then add 20% (or just a bit, if I’m just getting a rough idea), then move the decimal over one spot. For me, that one’s easy.

Inches to mm I have a harder time with, but I dunno why. Should be just divide by 4 and subtract a bit, but I always have to think that one through more than once.

Stupid non-conforming base 10/base 12 systems… 😒

Converting mm to inches is easy... simply go bloody metric. (full stop).

You have been busy Jan doing another first class model and plans.

Your work is always so nice.
Another great model with lots of detail!

Since 10cm is a little less than 4 inches isn't 60cm just under 24"?

Friday my son told me that I had made a mistake. It is indeed 24". This shows once again how difficult the imperial system is 😊. Or do you think it is due to something else? 😒
