Bluebirds in the trees

This is my first attempt at woodworking with the help of my husband Robinhood. He is teaching me the art of wood fracking. I was able to direct the fracking where I wanted it to be. I also used a high electric setting to get bigger and deeper burns. I then added blue birds I had on hand to make it more balanced. I finished this with clear satin.

Interesting, eye catching,    well done

Ron

An interesting piece. The addition of the birds is a win, and the fracking is well directed, and is certainly bigger and wider, and more purposefully shaped, than any I had seen before.

Keep making pieces, it is something that makes you want more successes. Good to have you on the forum, we need more Ladies.

Great job DM... Now they're the birds I love... don't care genus... the ones that don't invade and chirp in my roof eaves 24x7.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Nice work Donna!
Hey I think I saw you in action in Command & Conquer Red Alert !
Is that really you?

Regards Rob

Your first work and it turned out just the way you wanted it to. Fantastic work and a great burn. Hope to see you doing more of this in the coming weeks. I understand that an underwater piece is in the works with a very well known fish. Good luck with that one, can't wait to see it finished!
