The Man Blowing a Cloud
I built this piece out of Popular. The face had to be at the left bottom side of the piece to give it the flowing effect that it needed. I have been called an Artist of Wood and a lot of my pieces reflect that. The piece is painted a deep red metallic and measures 24" X 24".

Interesting. Could you give some more info about the build? Hand cut/carved? Rasps or knives? Thanks!

The wood is popular. The primer used was a dark grey to give the Cherry Red Metallic paint a depth to the piece. The piece is hand carved, I use a 3/8 curved knife, a 1/4", 1/2" straight chisel and an array of plastic, rubber and steel plates.
