Display shelf
Mrs G wanted to display a couple of wood wizards I’d carved a while ago.
She said “make a shelf to fit here and I want this one up here and this one down there.”
So, a narrow space with multiple elevations suggests box joints:

For scale, total width is 7-1/2” and each horizontal surface about 4”.

simple and a clean look. a lot could be done with that style.
