SNAKE PIT No.2 Puzzle.

Boys and Girls,

I had the choice of ganging this up with my Snake Pit No.1 puzzle, but I decided to keep them separate and refer to this one as “The Salt” and  that former as “The wound” ... then all I have to do is rub them together and rather than get a pit of snakes, they’ll bring tears to the eyes of all puzzle naysayers..

I have replaced the snake I used as a model for No.1 with his gentler de-fanged cousin,
however, the charmer has stayed as charming as before.

I designed the box for No.1 on the same principle as the Raya Box puzzles, assuming that all the versions would share the same box… well this snake bit me on the bum as the boxes were totally different sizes
Not only that, the designer, Yavuz Demirhan, did the dirty on me… sold me short by only making 2 of these Snake Pit puzzles as opposed to his 8 Raya boxes… which also made the generic box design a tad superfluous as it couldn’t be shared.

Nevertheless I retained the interchangeable Perspex top design if only to make taking out the pieces easier when you get frustrated trying to extricate those slippery little suckers.

Reverse engineered from the advertised brochure,
this one only had 6 pieces, which dinger counting revealed the contribution to the smaller sized box to the other 8 piece puzzle.

For those that choose not to be reminded of what that other box/puzzle looked like, here’s a salty picture, free of charge reminder, so not to be confuse you with the No.2 beside it in the picture above,
Sorry for being obnoxious, but I didn’t take any happy snaps and a project without my normal BS and lack of photos just creeps me out.
