I really enjoy reading and seeing all your various projects.
Is there a reason you are using a brass screw instead of a steel one?  Just wondering if a steel screw might cut better?

I've made a couple actually. My steel one definitely cuts better. The brass looks nice, cuts effectively, and won't rust. It's just what I had on hand at the time of making the idea. Perhaps stainless steel would be best.
