I have had this little cigar box for awhile and was looking to create something fun. The company that sells this cigar is reportedly one of the best in the world, though this actual product is no longer available.
To protect the interest of my customers I sketched the inside mechanics via an app, so it’s all clear as a bell as to how it operates, lol.
Perhaps the most fun was to work in a theme since the box has such a flashy name. So, the 9 push/turn pins on front are the Gate Keeps preventing you from getting in. On each end are 3 more pins, some are good, some are evil. Interestingly, this design features a mechanism that will test your faith and challenge your conventional thinking.
Naturally, I had to work in a few Red Herrings as well, you know, for shits and giggles.
Once done, I put it up for auction on puzzleparadise.net that does not take commissions from the artists. 7 days later, it’s bound for a new home. Love that.

Hey thanks guys. Funny you should mention that Black Duck. Flipping the front tab is so obvious they don’t even count it as a move. Our maths are different I reckon.
