My neighbor gave me 4 boards 8" x 52" x 2" thick rough sawn boards from a pine on their property in Georgia, they gave the boards to my neighbor and she has gave them to me to make a coffee table out of them. Her husband was going to make the table but unfortunately he passed away due to heart related issues, I never got to meet the guy but his widow who is my neighbor where I just moved in nextdoor to about 6 months ago and the fact that he has a big woodshop next door is pretty amazing and I built my new woodshop in my backyard and took the boards and made the table he was going to make so she can give it to the customer who originally gave her husband the boards.

Nice details and overall design Clayton 👍
Those boards sound like they had a journey! Did you have her husbands plans to follow or did you just roll your own?

Your second gallery photo looks like my shop, just tidier!
Very nice to finish the project.  Looks great!
Great story. It's nice that the table eventually made (or will make) its way to its intended owner.

Nice to finish off that project.

I hope she likes it.

Don't surprised if she offers a casserole.

Nice project.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Nice story and project.
