I made these 3 sets of earrings a couple of years ago. My wife didn't want them, so they just sat in a drawer. I happened to see them last week and thought about adding errings to my DIL's Pampered Dog Plaque (https://craftisian.com/projects/14374-a-very-pampered-dog). She might not like the other 3, but she can give them away or throw them out. 😲

For A while I've been contemplating the same thing just a bit more abstract, wood with some Paua shell I have. The combo has caught my eye and stuff like these could be easy 'nuff to lase out.
Johm, my Wife dabbles in jewelry, and looking at what she makes, and seeing the absolute lack of inventory. I think Wimmins love them some dangly stuff, so the thought the DIL may not like something is really low probability.
All of the offerings shown are what most anglers would consider "killer bait", when it comes to catching a Woman's attention.
Bruce, those are real nice, much better than plain wood. I’ve found that to make them really thin I needed to make plywood from a piece of solid wood and veneer glued together perpendicularly. It was the only way for me to keep very thin sections from easily breaking along the grain.
