What turned out to be a little joke ended up being something everyone wanted!! I bet I've made at least a dozen for family and friends.

Thanks for looking!  Now get scratching! LOL.

Love it! Now I have another item on my list to build!!
Thanks Barb! Go for it!  Make the head first then size the handle length to meet your need of reach.
Nice! I made a device like that for short-armed people to reach the clothes in the back of our front-loader clothes washer. It doubles as a back scratcher.

nice scratcher, i made one from a rockler kit but it can be a little rough so i had to smooth it out. yours looks more gentle ?

made from walnut. probably what barb will make hers from 😁

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Back scratcher!, you say tomato & I say tomaato. Looks like it could pass for a minerature rake for a table top zen garden.

oh oh, 😲

I probably could use it for as Kitty box rake too! But I don't have a cat! 🙂
Believe it or not there are similar ones sold as "pasta rakes" LOL!
it kinda is rick. not a tool that was tested on human flesh !!!!!

Glad to hear it Pottz! 🙂
Simply genius! What every human being needs and wants!
Msquared.... even the dogs love it! Lol.

Rick,

great idea, simple but a need by many.

Sure looks simpler than having to go all Griz bear style on the old Acacia tree!

I like it Mr R. With the spaces you could miss the itch. You must have an itchy family. The family that scratches together stays un itchy together.
TheWoodGuy ... nah!.. we're not an itchy family. Just once in a while. 😉
maybe try a flea collar ? 🤔
