i couldn't say because i have no idea what the hell each one does ! my electric hand plane doesn't need one 🤣

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

If you’re just talking aesthetics, I like C & D.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

I prefer "B" due to its shape that leaves room to tap the top of the iron with the plane adjusting hammer. I have several molding planes with such a wedge profile.
I've seen version "D" broken due to tapping under the top round for removal when stuck. I think "A" could also be destroyed this way.
I made "C" about an hour ago. It looks nice but kind of bulbous. Perhaps refining will improve it.  The only way to know is to make each and put it into a moulding plane.
They look musical, but

I  ♪ sing a similar tune ♫ as Pottzy, however, my plane is hand held,

no wussy 20th. century corded ones for me.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Pottz, LBD .... The problem with your power ones is that you can't make different profiles. They are more or less a sophisticated powered card scraper! 😉

D is my favorite.

I was looking at D Last night. I may make one to see what it looks like installed. My own version is similar to C.
Not having a matching plane to rate performance, B looks like the best for tooth-picking after dinner!
ha ha ha SplinterGroup.....or your nose! Ouch!!
I like D  !!!!!!!!!!!!
