I prefer "B" due to its shape that leaves room to tap the top of the iron with the plane adjusting hammer. I have several molding planes with such a wedge profile. I've seen version "D" broken due to tapping under the top round for removal when stuck. I think "A" could also be destroyed this way.
I made "C" about an hour ago. It looks nice but kind of bulbous. Perhaps refining will improve it. The only way to know is to make each and put it into a moulding plane.
Pottz, LBD .... The problem with your power ones is that you can't make different profiles. They are more or less a sophisticated powered card scraper! 😉
